Value addition through seed processing

Do you wish to add value to your seeds through processing? Shares Uganda Limited now offers seed processing services for large quantities of chia and sesame seeds (other seed types also possible).

We provide the following services to meet your processing needs:

- Mechanical seed cleaning to 99% purity.

- High purity cleaning to 99.95% minimum. 

- Sterilisation through UV-c treatment that effectively removes most unwanted microbiological components such as E-coli and Salmonella. 

- Natural fumigation systems that kill all unwanted pests through a

low-oxygen application, ideal for your organic produce. 

- Standard packaging options of 25 kilograms (KG) paper bags and

Polypropylene bags of 25 Pounds (LBS), 25 KG, 50 KG, 600 KG and 1200 KG. Additional packaging options are available upon request.

- Storage facilities. 

- Quality control. 

- Assistance in procurement and distribution.

- Accordingly, we carry the FSSC 22000, USDA NOP, and EU organic

certifications, which are crucial when exporting processed commodities to global markets.

Our machinery

Our cleaning lines are supplied by leading manufacturers of industrial

machines for processing, handling and storing of grains and seeds

(Cimbria and Tanis).

Additionally, both cleaning lines have UV-c sterilisation machines installed to ensure the effective removal of any microbiological components in the chia or sesame seeds (such as salmonella and e-coli); the UV-c treatment systems are supplied by Clean Light.
