Shares Uganda Limited develops, finances, processes and exports added-value organic and conventional agricultural commodities in Uganda in direct cooperation with small-scale farmers. The certified organic growers receive various training and assistance to enhance productivity and ensure a profitable and fair income with guaranteed procurement. Our primary export commodities are sesame seeds, dried bird’s-eye chilies and chia seeds. Consultancy and farmer training are offered in a joint venture with Shares Consultancy. Additionally, we offer a seed processing service to local producers, traders, and exporters (third parties). The seeds and grains are cleaned to a minimum of 99.95% purity in our factory near Kampala, which includes climate room facilities for natural fumigation of the commodities. Our factory is situated in a spacious green environment about 20 miles from Kampala, just after Mukono town, towards Jinja. Here we store and process seed crops from all over Uganda.
